The university hopes to give between 6,000 and 10,000 free flu shots in one day — next Tuesday.

The mass one-day vaccination effort also will serve as a test of the university's emergency response system, to see how many people can be inoculated in a short period of time.

Mayo Clinic did that last year, I think, and also used the "emergency preparedness" line. I've given up yelling at the TV by now and just roll my eyes.

Seeing as I live in MN AND attended the U, I'm so embarrassed.

Soooo, let's mess with people's health to break the Guinness Book of World Records! Are they kidding?? I wish they were.

Oh, the ridiculousness of it all

Now they have a promo video, which is both scary AND sad. Scary in general, and sad because they are making light of something that has caused serious problems with people who have had reactions to the vaccine:

Would be interesting to see if pharma gave the $$ to make the video.

It would be nice if someone stood in the vicinity and handed out flyers with a list of ingredients.
