I-phone...anyone have one?

I have been looking at getting a new phone. I definitely need one with a day-planner on it and would like to have internet/e-mail. Are there definitely advantages to I-phone?

We have a family plan with AT&T...can I add the i-phone to my current plan?

You can sort of add it on to you current plan. You'll have an extra $30 a month for the data plan which alllows you to use the internet on the phone and certain other features to work.

I think the email/internet is what makes the phone for me we have ours on the family plan with att, but we just pay $20 more. Maybe it's different by area? I'd ask about it if they say it's $30....just saying.

We are paying $20 too. It was increased to $30 when the newest iphones came out.

Hmm,
thanks for the feedback. I definitely know I need one now It's good to know I can add one to my family plan. when I looked online, it seemed like I had to get a new plan if I got the iphone. I'm so glad I don't.

I have one and love love love it. It's my favorite thing in the world. I have no complaints, except that I get no phone service in my house except by one window. Which has nothing to do with the phone, just AT&T.

I love mine, I rarely use the phone part I'm all about the apps and internet. Love google maps when I'm out and about.

I don't think I've met one single person who isn't in love with their I-Phone!! I'm thinking of switching to one as well. Being able to get one the internet for ANYTHING and search quickly is definitely an advantage...and that Google Maps surely will come in handy for me!

DH and I both have iPhones. LOVE it! I had a G2 one first and that was $20 extra a month and then when I got my G3 it changed to $30. We have ours both on a shared family plan and they just tack the iPhone charge onto it. Or you can get an iPhone plan. We found the family one was cheaper for us in the long run.

I noticed we got a new service update this week!

I love it, but I don't love the new ones as much as the old ones. I am still bummed that I washed my first one. Yes, I know. It happened months ago and I still haven't forgiven myself.

I've been thinking about getting one of these. Thanks for this thread!

I would love one but at $199 for the phone, $130 a month for the service (not including fees and taxes) it's already over $1700 for the first year. I can't justify it.

We have Iphones and pay well over $100 per month, I didn't see a plan for $70...I should look into that!
