We are please to choose (insert midwives names here) and her associates for the their excellent homebirth services for the birth of our second child, due February 26, 2009.
I'll skip the middle stuff and just get to the circ part, for your reading ease.
Our feelings on circumcision:
After researching on this issue, we have chosen not to circumcise any sons that we may have, therefore to this end, we request:
1) No retraction or manipulation of the foreskin during the newborn exam.
2) No vitamin K shot after birth, regardless of the gender of the baby
3) If hospital transfer is indicated, we request patient advocacy making it clear that we do not give consent for circumcision
