Interesting. Especially since they weren't asking doctors. They were asking people door-to-door, and the article said that their was no definition between allergies and something like lactose intolerance. So it might be a real number. So then how come I'm the only one I know in the real world who has children with food intolerances. I know more than 26 children!

That is interesting. So really, the numbers are probably more like 1 in 15, since so many food allergies go undiagnosed, or misdiagnosed as behavior issues or ADD or whatever.
My dad just sent me that article too. I was really annoyed when I read the "no one ones why..." sentence. I was like "I can tell you why!! Antibiotics, vaccines, and poor nutrition!! We're ruining the immune systems of children in this country!!" rant over.
