thanks for the link GoddessKristie but none of the candy seems age appropriate for DD who is 14 mos, looks like mostly hard candy, but thanks for the info for future years. Tho I am keeping my fingers crossed that DD will grow out of wheat and dairy allergies (she's only mildly allergic) she will probably be peanut allergic for life.

Sorry, I just gotta say.....NO candy is appropriate for a 14 month old!!!

I wonder if there's such a thing as soft candy that's not full of allergens. I tried to make tootsie rolls one time (you can google the corn-free, dairy-free recipe), but it turned out all wrong.

Our Halloween is going to consist of some safe homemade cookies

I think we will be doing cookies, pears, bananas, mangos (our safe fruits) and a few toys. Usually we only hit a few relatives houses, but I will not be taking him this year if there will be a big bowl of candy he cannot have, too much stress for him and me.

If you go to the 8 Allergen-free candy section they have jelly beans and gummy bears. They also have melt-in-your-mouth candies which do just that. It says they have a fondant-like texture and they start to melt as soon as you bite into them.

Yeah, there's no where to click for corn-free candy that i could see. There was a thread a while ago where people were linking sites that did offer it, though.
