DD refusing to take anything for thrush

So, I noticed about a week ago that DD has thrush, so I got some of the flavored liquid acidophilus and she was taking that. Then my midwife suggested grapefruit seed extract for both of us (I'm still nursing, so I got it too), biotin for me, and powdered acidophilus to put on my breasts before and after I nurse her. Now, she will no longer take the liquid acidophilus, hates the taste of the gse (even when I mix it with A Lot of juice) and won't nurse if I have acidophilus on my breasts!!
The thrush is starting to get very painful for me and I want to get rid of it! Any advice??
Thanks,
Amanda

I used Gentian Violet on my youngest son when he was a baby. Turns the mouth purple but it works well! Just swab the inside of the mouth with it. A wonderful"hippiemama" of 5 told me about it. I also used it on my nipples. No biggie with purple nipples for a time! The stuff usually knocks it out in one application.
