My guess would be that KU would be more institutional since it is a "teaching" hospital, ya know? What about St. Joes off 435 and Wornall? My friend had her baby there and really enjoyed her experience.

That's a good suggestion, but pretty far from where it sounds like HydePark lives (I think).

Are you destined for a hospital birth? What about the birth center? I think it's called Mercy and Truth? I think it's in KCK. That might be too far too, though.
