Battlestar Galactica - The End! - Page 3

Loved tonight's epi! How cute were Tigh and Caprica?? What a blow about Nikki, and I am super pissed at a certain traitor in the fleet. I guess I don't like what they're doing with his character. He's always had such integrity. Although I guess he thinks he's doing the right thing now. I want to get back on the baseship and get some cylon action! And I'm ready for the Pres and Baltar to buck up and get it together. Oh, oh, another thought - Notice how Adama was seeming to be sick tonight? What if HE'S really the dying leader?? I hope nobody gets off'd next week. It would make me and :

I was surprised that they didn't talk more about Ellen. I would think it would have to come up sometime that if she's the Fifth, where did she down load to and is it Caprica.

Gaeda turning bad is the best thing to happen to his character. He has been in the background for far too many episodes since New Caprica. I think he plays a bad guy well. I loved the scene between Starbuck and Gaeda.

I was thinking the same thing. Adama isn't looking so healthy. He might be the dying leader that their religious book spoke of.

I love the idea that they are all cylons but, I don't think it's possible.

When Caprica and Tigh were having their ultrasound, she said there had never been a successful cylon/cylon union that resulted in pregnancy. If everyone were cylons, wouldn't the notice that no one ever got pregnant?

: Pfh. Fine. Ruin that idea. [stomps off childishly]

But I just keep thinking about what Ron Moore said about the Final Five being almost completely different from the Eight. So it makes sense they would be able to procreate. After all, in Chief's memories, none of the Cylons were duplicates, so they obviously were reproducing, not replicating.

Another thought. Everyone keeps harping on "This has all happened before, and this will all happen again," right? Well, did anyone else notice that when they swore in the Cylons as civilians, that the Cylons in effect became "The Thirteenth Colony?" How's that for repeating the cycle?

Re: Adama being ill:

I think he is developing an addiction to the pain medication he started taking after his little breakdown. You see several scenes of him rubbing his shoulder and moving his arm like it hurts. You also see one or two scenes of him looking panicky, sweating, and then grabbing the pills and popping a couple.

I think the tigh-lons are as different from the cylons as cylons are from humans. I still think there is some sort of interwoven, evolutionary relationship between humans and skinjobs, with branches and offshoots and multiple common ancestors.

I don't discount this at all.

OMG! Gaeta, that little fracker! I can't believe he did it!

Wasn't Starbuck awesome, though?! I have a huge girl-crush on her, she is so bada$$. Knocking off those marines, then giving Apollo an "Isn't it great to be alive" kiss--sweet.

And I'm glad Roslin finally woke up.

Argh! This episode was so intense, I still can't take it all in.

What an intense episode.

I love Starbuck. : I can't wait to see her in action next week.

Yeah, it was about time Roslin snapped out of it. Good old Baltar, always looking out for himself. He cracks me up each time I see him with his religious harem. He's such a fake.

I'm worried for Athena and her daughter.
ADM Adama better not die in part two as it was mentioned. That would totally suck.

Ah, that was an awesome episode! If Tigh bites it next week, then I am absolutely convinced the Five download somewhere. Poor Caprica I can't wait for someone to airlock Gaeta.

Good episode!

I can imagine Gaeta will turn back at the last minute and give his life to save Adama.

Okay, I can totally see that happening. He comes to the realization that Zarack is just a power hungry hoser who manipulated him, and atones with his life. It could work.
I don't know. DH and I think Starbuck will take Gaeta down. Adama will tell her not to, but she'll do it anyway.

I totally think Tigh will download. In the webisodes there was a brief glimpse of a raptor opening and someone getting out (you couldn't tell who it was) and everyone in a state of shock. I bet it's Tigh (with Ellen, maybe.)

This was a great episode. We were on the edge of our seats the whole time. Now Apollo and Starbuck need to get back to the brig somehow and get everyone out!
Starbuck really seems to thrive and almost enjoy the chaos and energy of the mutiny.

I can't wait to see a showdown between Starbuck and Gaeta although I have some sympathetic feelings for Gaeta. I think the alliance with the cyclons wasn't sold well to the masses. Roslin was checked out and Adama wasn't open to discussing the decision. That makes it easier for manipulators like Zarek to do their work.
I think it would be interesting if Gaeta gets killed. And then shows up again. With his leg.

Honestly, I sort of think this is headed towards everyone - cylon and human, being killed . . .and resurrected in paradise. With all the religious themes in the show, it wouldn't suprise me.
I'm liking the idea that the cylons are able to resurrect somehow. I also thought, when they said in the first episode that all the bodies they found on earth were cylons, that the whole human race is really cylons. I don't think what Caprica said about her baby being the first cylon-cylon successful mating negates that - she just isn't aware of what the cylons on earth really are. Kind of a parallel evolution thing maybe.
My DH thinks they're all dead - humans and cylons - and this whole thing has been a sort of purgatory for them. They have to either work together or annihilate each other in the end for them to move on to either heaven or hell.

I'm not sure I buy that... It almost seems too simple. An easy way to clean up a big mess.

Re: Gaeta and his leg. DH and I think Starbuck will beat him with the good leg during their showdown.
LOL. I hope somebody takes him out soon. Grrr.
I just had this crazy thought the other day. What if the destruction of the Cylon homeworld the last 5 came from came about because the skin jobs were attacked by the tin jobs? Maybe the giant silent robotic cylons revolted...

Just a thought..
