I lost my Great Grandmother on Tuesday. She has always been a huge part of my life (she was my primary caregiver until I started school). We knew when she went into the hosptial on Monday it wasn't looking good she was VERY jaundiced, monday night they found she had a blockage in her liver and tuesday morning we were told to come say our good byes. We lost her Tuesday afternoon shortly after DH and I got to the hospital.
DS and I usually walk to her house once a week and he wants to know "why not walk" and "see grammie" I just don't know what to tell him, he's only 21 months old. I just don't know what to do or tell him, someone suggested just letting him forget...but I don't WANT him to forget her, she's been an important part of his life and he absolutely adores her. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
