Hi all,
I have not been all that active around MDC for a while now - but thought of this community today while brainstorming on ways to get the word out about a grassroots campaign against Proposition 102 in Arizona. Here is the blurb from our blog: http://noon102.blogsome.com
--------------------------------------------------------
Prop 102 would amend the Arizona Constitution to say "only a union between one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state". We want to counter the messages of divisiveness, exclusion and prejudice with your images of inclusion, equality and acceptance.
If you live in Arizona take a picture in front of your “No on 102’ lawn sign, print a sign for your car window and send us a pic, or stand in front of one of the “Yes” signs holding a handmade sign that shows your support of equality.
If you live outside of Arizona, but want to show your support, make a sign of your own celebrating equality, acceptance, love - just make sure to write “No On 102” somewhere on the sign!
Share your photos by uploading them to our flickr group or by emailing them directly to us at noon102@gmail.com.

The Yes On 102 folks have raised 7 million to the 300,000 raised by the No campaign - Yes signs are plastered all over the city. Myself and three other friends, decided that instead of feeling hopeless and worried we would take action and try to build a little momentum in our community. If you would be willing to take a moment, make a sign with your kids, take a pic and send it to us with some words of support - we would be eternally grateful. The queer community in Arizona and our allies badly need to believe that we have a chance of defeating this proposition.
Thanks for reading
