I'm in! EDD is July 13th (our 10 yr wedding anniversary!) but our first boy came a week and a half late, so I won't be holding my breath. We'd been TTC for three months, so I'm still in a bit of shock, as I thought it would take longer. Yay! Still cautious though.

Also a c/s mama, and planning a homebirth with midwife this time around.

Welcome to the surrogates! That's got to be the nicest thing you could ever do for someone! Very cool

I just realized that i never posted in this thread.

My name is Willow, but everyone IRL calls me Wil. DH and I have one DD, Amelia, who just turned 4 in august. We were going to start trying soon, and decided to throw caution to the wind one night about 3 days before I o'd and now here I am. Those guys really do live for a long time.

I'm so excited to get to know everyone over the next 9 months!

I can't believe I am here. My due date is July 20, this is my fourth & Dh's first. I haven't told him yet, but I bought some cute socks & a bib & plan to tell him tonight. My other kiddos are 3 1/2 (DD), 5 (DS2) & 8 (DS1). I am a full-time student & a birth-doula, and am planning a homebirth.

Hi,

I'm the moron who thought I was due in August I checked out a pregnancy calender today just to see what was happening and was quite surprised to see I was due in July. I thought it was 10 months from the first day of my last period. Show's how much I know! And this is my second one! Pregnancy brain is hitting me already!

Anyway, so it looks like I'm due around 7/12/09. Still very excited and am happy that each kiddo will have his/her own month for a birthday. I have my first midwife appointment tomorrow and am looking forward to having the pregnancy confirmed.

Hi to all the other 7/09's!

Hi Everyone! I still cant believe I'm here- I almost wanted to wait to post, but then for what? I'm a grad of the TTC group where I was for only ~ 1 week!! A bunch of us just found out this week, there were some good baby vibes over there.

I'm 11DPO and have had three days of positives! I POAS at the dr's this morning and it was confirmed. WOW! This is our first (I'm 30) and we are so excited. I'm looking forward to having all you mamas and mamas-to-be to share experiences with.

Does anyone know how to get a ticker in your siggie? I never thought I would want one...

Oh yeah, my EDD is 7/25/09 from other websites to 7/31/09 from my dr's office. So who knows?

I'm finally dragging my butt in here....I've know for almost two weeks! My DD is July 10th but I would be SHOCKED if I make it to July (DD was a month early, and premies run in the family).

We don't try or avoid, but this one is sort of a shock for us...I swear we did not do the deed for almost a week before I O'd and I was also really sick from hand, foot, and mouth disease...I thought for sure that my body would NOT pick this month to go for it! But hey, just goes to show, you never know. Our financial circumstances are pretty dismal at the moment, so I'm really trying to just keep myself together right now. I almost feel like we don't deserve this little one right now, but I know that things will work out.

I have a DD, Gabriella, who is 21 months, so she'll be 2 1/2 when the babe is born! We're still going strong in the breastfeeding department, but we'll see how that goes!

I just got a positive blood pregnancy test from the doctor, so I feel confident enough to post in here. My name is Elicia, and my husband is Joe. Our first little one is due July 25th. I'm 24 and he is 25. We're excited, but also a little nervous! I have a bicornuate uterus, and miscarriages (especially those in the second trimester) are more likely in those of us with mullerian anomalies. So I'm trying to enjoy every moment of my pregnancy as much as I can!

So glad to be here! :::

Hi everyone!

My name's Sabrina, and I have two little girls (Ayla and Maija). We had a m/c in October, and we were really devastated. We decided that we were going to wait until May/June to conceive again, but this little soul had different ideas! I got a BFP on November 11, and am due July 25/09! : My dd1 was born at 42+5 weeks and dd2 at 41+1 weeks, so I may dip into August, but I sure hope not! I have a really hard time in those last few weeks!

I have a really amazing dp, and after being together for 7+ years we have decided to get married this summer. Also, I've been training to be a midwife for the last 4 years, and I finally graduate and become a "real" (and paid!) registered midwife in April 2009. Needless to say, 2009 is going to be an awesome year for us!

So happy to be here with you lovely mamas and mamas-to-be!

I have been lurking for over two weeks now...so I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Michelle. My DH and I have two little girls, 5 and 2 yrs old. This was our first month trying so I am in a bit of shock but so excited. My EDD is July 11th. With DD1, I went into labor on my due date but had her early the next morning and with DD2, I had her on her due date so I very well may have my babe on July 11th.

Looking forward to this journey with all of you!

Hello All You Lovely Ladies!!

We decided to start TTC only last month and I am sure I am pregnant. I am going to the midwifes office tomorrow for the official test and to see if I like their practice.

This will be our second child. Our DS is turning two on Dec 5. He is still nursing.. A LOT... and I am committed to child led weaning. So I will be tandem nursing. I am already having some issues with breast soreness and his nursing but I can deal with it

My first birth was all natural with a midwife at a free standing birth center. We have moved to a different state since then so our options are different this time. I will be having a home birth!!! I am so excited!!!

I am currently training to be a doula and I need to attend two more births before February so I can finish my certification. It will be interesting to see how my energy holds up to attend births while I am pregnant.

I am so happy to be here with all of you!

Love and Light

Howdy everyone. I am really having trouble keeping my early pregnancy a secret, so am so glad I can post here and tell dozens of strangers instead of people in real life.

Looks like I'm due July 29 or so. I have a very spirited 25 month old DD and had a horrible, soul-destroying miscarriage in March, so I'm more than a bit nervous at this point. I'm just trying to take care of myself and the little bean.

I was SURE I wasn't pregnant because I somehow messed up my chart, and I gave blood on Friday. I nearly passed out but that usually happens anyway, and as far as I can tell, no damage done.

I won't see the nurse midwife at the practice until early December, so now I guess I just wait ...

Good wishes and prayers to everyone and hope we can make it through this together!

3rd Summer Baby, 5th Baby

Hi,

I am expecting my fifth baby, around the middle of July. So exciting! I will have to get a new midwife this time, since we moved since the last baby was born. I'm so hoping that I'll really connect well with her.

I'm feeling pretty gross most of the time. With my other babies, I had varying morning sickness (all day!) from the entire pregnancy, to only four months.

I think we're going to make a Christmas announcement, so we have a while to wait before we're telling others, but it's fun to celebrate here with you mamas!

Hi everyone,
I just got a BFP this week! I'm probably about 4.5 weeks along. I'm probably going to be more of a lurker than a poster for the first couple of weeks.... I'm a little gun shy after a series of m/c's and I'm really, really, really hoping this one sticks! This will be our first baby

So far so good!

It took me 5.5 years to get pregnant with my 2.5-year-old DD... but I prayed that, like with many women, it would be easier to get PG with #2. It took me about 4 months to get PG this time. :

My DD was born at a birthing center under a midwife's care and I'll decide later if I want to go that direction, or attempt to pursue a HB. I was pretty happy with my previous birth experience -- not thrilled with the midwife, who was young, inexperienced, and had never been pregnant herself (the way this birthing center system works, you deliver under the care of whoever's on duty), but the L&D nurse who came on duty when I delivered was excellent. Love those compassionate L&D nurses.

Hi Everyone!

I am Angelika and I think I am due on the 23rd. Total surprise pregnancy- we were going to start trying for #2 in a few months. So just a little ahead of schedule. We have a son who turns two on Nov 25th.

Hello!

I'm pregnant with #3. I have an almost 4 year old and a 16 month old.

#1 was a planned hospital birth turned into a nightmare. NEVER ever doing that again.

#2 was a wonderful birth at home. Hope to do that again! (birth story here if anyone is interested)

I'm due around July 15th, best I can figure. I'm still breastfeeding and my cycles have not normalized since I got my PPAF when ds#2 was 10 months old. Ds#1 was 2 weeks early and ds#2 was born on his due date, so no idea when this LO will come!

Hi Everyone!

I'm due with #7. My due date is 10 July, but I think given my track record I will probably have the baby sometime in June.

I'm doing pretty well at this stage. Some bouts of queasiness, but no real nausea.
I'm very tired, though!

I have my first appointment with a midwife on 18 Dec and I'm praying for a homebirth.

Lovely "meeting" everyone!

Trouble finding midwife

I have been phoning around with no luck this week, looking to find a midwife. I am feeling so worried today! I've had three wonderful home births with midwives, and am really looking forward to the same this time. Part of the trouble is that I'm due in the middle of summer. The closest midwife doesn't work in the summer (she's solo practise). The other ones are further away, and would rather have closer clients.
