I'm pretty proud of myself

So we've put ourselves on a budget to meet our long term goals. almost 2 weeks ago I spent $133 on groceries and we still have quite a bit left. We've also not paid for any eating out (fil and mil took us to Dairy Queen one day) and I've had no soda in two weeks. I had let myself get lazy and we were eating out way more than we could afford.

I'm quite happy with us! Today I went out and bought steaks (on sale!) to celebrate and also because dh has been putting up with so many meatless meals.

Congratulations! We've been doing the same thing, and halved our grocery bill this month. Feels good!!!

Feels good to take control again! We were eating out way too much last year for both my budget and waistline.
