OMG! What will they come up with next? Lets allow a child to have a life threatening reaction just to save them from the DEADLY Chicken Pox Are they serious?????

Who's best interest?

Sooo, basically what they are saying is:

1. Allergic reactions are extremely rare (With VAERS only estimated at being 10% of reactions reported - hmmm...you decide.)
2 . Even if we know your child might have a reaction or they had one before, let's just shoot them up anyways and take our chances! And let's give them even more pharmaceutical drugs in the meantime.

It doesn't look like we can access the text for the AAP article it points to. I'd also be interested in what they are talking about here:

This is unconscionable. The people behind this evil nonsense should be stripped of their degrees and sued into destitution. :

Oh, hell no.

I can tell you from experience, there are doctors out there who will not recognize an allergic reaction when they see one. Because, it can't possibly be an allergic reaction... it has to be something else.

An allergy is an immune response, anyway. So wouldn't giving meds to suppress the immune response defeat the purpose of the vaccine, which is supposed to stimulate an immune response? I think it's a different type of response, but have they studied at all how this would work?
