Milwaukee area waterparks

Hi mamas!

I know the season is all wrong but I'm looking for opinions on Cool Waters and Pelican Cove. I am looking for a waterpark to take a group of middle school and high school age girls next summer in the Milwaukee area and I live in NW Indiana. Help! Any thoughts on either of those places or other outdoor waterparks would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

I don't know if you are having to stick with Milwaukee, but if you can spare the extra drive time & highly suggest you visit Wisconsin Dells. There are a ton of indoor & outdoor waterparks & of course the biggest one ~ Noah's Ark.

BTW ~ I have never taken my kids to either of those places.....so I have no idea what they are really like.

Thanks for the thought but we'll be in the Lake Geneva area so Milwaukee is just a day trip!

Has anyone been to either of these places? They're part of the Milwaukee County Park system...

Thanks!

I have been to cool waters and it was fun for my kids. Just don't expect too much. It does have 2 big water slides but nothing fabulous. there were some teens there but I would say that it is pretty much set up for the tween and under set. As for pelican cove it has the same concept, however it is not in a very good neightborhood, is not as nice or as big, and is busier.

On the plus side Cool Waters is cheap!

Good luck!

There is also the Timber Ridge hotel/waterpark in Lake Geneva.....you could check out if they have day passes too.

That is exactly what I was going to say. It's a nice place, not the fanciest compared to the Dells, but it's nice.
