Wow, that's great!!! As an adoptive mom doing adoptive bfeeding, I know first hand how rewarding it is even with all the effort it takes. I wish there was more public knowledge about adotpive bfeeding in this country and worldwide. Yes, it's alot of work, but it's well worth it! And regarding the conservative nay-sayer's, well there will always be those who think it's bizarre or have some kind of issue with it. I'm gratefull I've only had a couple of people think I'm a weirdo (at leaste to my face : )....

Just to add to this - in the Q'uran it says that women should breastfeed for two years. Interestingly this is just the time when the babe's immune system is fully developed
