I'm wondering if anyone else has tried homeschooling for k-1 here in Germany before the legal school age in order to keep on track with American and British schooling? How did you give your kids social opportunities without a homeschool community?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

hi kdb
my mom used to homeschool my little brother (now turning 17). She worked on base and was able to legally homeschool him.
for social contact michael used to be a cub scout and my mom was babysitting american children.
you could check your region for playgroups or sports (turnverein or sth). Where do you live?
