I want a natural doll for my vegan baby :(

I can't find one They all have wool in them. I don't want a little cotton teether doll, I would like one that is more like a baby, preferably even with a little weight to it. It doesn't have to be waldorfy. Really I would like it if it wasn't. She loves the horrible little plastic baby dolls other kids have. She's so facinated by their faces.

Anyone know of anything? Even the doll kits all come with wool.

Some vegan mamas have made Waldorf inspired dolls using poly fiberfill batting instead of wool. Photos were posted here a while back. Maybe a search will pull up the threads.

Thank you for your help! I know there are stuffings available that are vegan, but my sewing skills would be iffy on a doll kit, I'm afraid. I totally couldn't make a nice doll all on my own

Carrin - Those are perfect! I really wanted an all organic one, too, but left that out because I was beginning to think my search was futile. I have no idea how those dolls never showed up on my searches, I spent quite some time looking, too, believe me. Thank you so much! I ordered one directly from the mum who makes the little 16" baby dolls, she was sooo nice, and is even tweaking to my requests, free of charge. I asked if it could be weighted with millet and have chubbier cheeks, and she is giving her longer hair and stuffing some lavender in. She was wonderful to talk to : Her daughter answered the phone and giggled when I asked about dolls, so cute
