Where to donate gently used toys to kids in need?

My 3 yo has more toys than she even plays with and lots of relatives who will I'm sure be giving her more for X-mas. I would really like to make donating unwanted toys a part of our X-mas season every year. My dd has agreed that she would like to give some things to other little girls/boys who don't have many toys. Does anyone know of programs other than goodwill/salvation army. I'd rather have the toys be given to kids who really need them, rather than sold cheap. I would even try to wrap them. Lots of the charities, like toys for tots only take new items. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Click on the link in my sig to get to the Holiday Helper thread.
You can donate the toys (and any clothes you might have) to MDC Mamas in Need!

Thanks for the idea - Once I get a list of items, I will PM someone about it. BTW, the link in your sig didn't work so I did a search.

Cradles to Crayons in Quincy accepts used toy donations.

They also have donation drives around the state if Quincy is too far.

I've donated toys & books to a local family shelter. You can call a woman's shelter to see where/what the needs are in your community.
