avoided potential vaccine mishap

So, we had an appointment for our 7 month old with the Ped on Wed to get whatever vaccine/s we decided on. I decided I still didn't want any- we were considering HIB- so I cancelled the appointment.

Then Wed night DD came down with a cold. So, if we had gotten her shots, she would have been weakened by the oncoming cold.

Makes me think even more not to do any vaccinations.

Yes, how do we know when a child is not feeling well? And when that vaccine will cause severe damage because either the timing was wrong or the vaccine would have caused damages anyway? It is a guessing game and we are taking huge chances with our kids' health.

I am always glad that my dd did not vaccinate her kids. They are so healthy.

She had originally decided to wait until they are two and then found that there was no need for any vaccine. Now they are 3 and 5.

When I was still considering a delayed, spread out vax schedule (before we decided not to vax at all), I had this constant worry in the back of my mind. What if my baby were fighting off an infection when we chose to vaccinate him? There'd be no way of knowing until it was too late.

That was one factor of many in our ultimate decision never to vaccinate our child. I'm glad you were able to avoid potential catastrophe, chambom! Scary stuff.

Personally I think that is one reason why they (big pHARMa) changed the criteria for vaccinating a child. The child no longer needs to be fully healthy. They are going so far as to say a child that is slightly sick will gain better immunity.

That shows how little they care about our kids.
