Introducing Silver Rain

Silver Rain C. was born into her Daddy's hands Oct 25 at 8:55am after 2+ days of contractions but only 6.5 hrs of active labour, on the first day of snow. Silver came into this world, as she was conceived, with only her parents in attendance. It was everything I dreamed it would be, but CURSES: labour hurts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

A big thanks to the freebirthin' community here and especially my super-fantastic awesome friend Andrea. I felt so supported throughout my pregnancy and labour.

Happy days o' baby bliss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(so sorry to those still waiting. I know how much it SUCKS!!!!)

Congrats on your little one. I admire your trust in birth and your body. I considered UC with this one. Glad you had a great birth!
