Making solid beeswax perfume.

Has anyone tried this? Can I use any old beeswax for melting? Any ideas for cute containers, possible made from stone.
Thanks!

I haven't tried making a perfume, but I've made balms and ointments using olive oil and beeswax and adding essential oils. I know I can smell my diaper rash ointment on my DS for an hour or so, but eventually it absorbs into the skin and you can't smell it as much.

I believe you can use any filtered (doesn't contain any chunks of comb, etc.) beeswax, but I've found the little pellets are easier to work with than big chunks.

I am going to attempt to make soy wax solid perfume and soy candles. I'll let you know how it goes and how long the scent lasts !

I won't get the supplies for a few days, but I promise to let you know because it would make great gifts. I normally buy this solid perfume http://www.betweenheavenandearth.ca/solid_perfume.htm. It would be nice to have little carved soapstone boxes for the perfume!
