Tet. shot for scratch?

My unvaxed 12-month-old just got scratched by a (not rusty) wire fence. It's very minor. I could see a tiny bit of blood in the scatch, but it didn't bleed. I have heard that you don't need to worry unless it's a puncture wound. Anybody know about this? I tried to do an online search, but didn't come up with anything but a bunch of pro-vax propaganda.

TIA!

Kids get scratches all the time. Don't worry about it. Kids don't get tetanus anyway. It has always been extremely rare even in adults.

tetanus can only thrive in an oxygen-free environment, and air is full of oxygen so there is no way...
