Hampton? Virginia Beach mamas?

Hi, my husband, I and 2 boys (4.5 and almost 3) just moved to Virginia. Hubby words in Hampton and currently we are renting an apt in Yorktown. Are there any ap minded groups here? Non-vax friendly doctors?

We just found out we're pregnant too so midwife recommendations would also be great. :

Hi!
We're in Hampton as well, and I have a three year old dd and a two year old ds, and one on the way as well!
I have a midwife that I love, and I'd be more than happy to PM you her info.- she's a homebirth midwife and she is the absolute best!!!! We also use a non-vax friendly ped, and I can get you that info as well if you'd like!
Welcome to VA, and I look forward to meeting you soon.

Can I jump in here too? I tried to get info on VA Beach from the military tribe but no response. My dh is going to be stationed in Norfolk at the first of the year and hopfully we will be following soon after. He is dead set on living in Va Beach, we are total beach people and would love to be able to walk to the beach. And one of the great things about the military is that you get to start your life over every few years: So we will need no vax friendly ped, would love someone who practices homeopathy. I will be starting a midwifery school next year so I will need an awsome midwife to work with. And I will be teaching natural childbirth classes, how is the birth environment there? I still get looked at like I have three heads when people hear I had a homebirth. Any kind of ap playgroups and homeschool groups would be great. I have to dd, 4.5 and 1.5. Hope to meet some of you great mama's soon!

Hi ladies. I live in Yorktown, we do have an AP group on meetup (I think it's called tidewater AP group) and there's also a norfolk meetup AP group. JJJJBlue3333, I know I've already seen you join the forum connected to the tidewater meetup, but thought the other moms who posted on here could use the info.
