Pre-Labor Frustration

Just had to vent for a second! i'm 38 weeks and i have been having about a week now of every night staying up with contractions. they are not really intense, sometimes i have to breath through them a bit but nothing too bad, just really annoying and i cant sleep through them.

my cervix isnt changing much, i have been losing mucus, but nothing to write home about.

ugh, i'm just tired and anxious right now, i dont really need advice about getting them to stop, i really dont feel like drinking wine or anything i just nap as much as i can during the day.

i just had to get this out and kinda hoping i'm not alone in my misery!
thanks

Nope, not alone! !

You are definitely not alone. I have been having the same thing for over a week now. Every night I go to bed and think this is the night but then I wake up and I'm still pregnant! Soon, we'll be holding our little ones in our arms. For me it just can't be soon enough.

feeling the same way over here.

Yep--me too. Every night for a week and a half I've gone to sleep with my gut telling me "tonight's the night!" and every morning I wake up still pregnant! I feel like the boy who cried wolf and definitely have lost faith in listening to my body which is soooo disheartening!
