Lord of the Rings 20 Questions, Anyone?

Anyone up for a Lord of the Rings 20 questions game? I'm participating in a Harry Potter 20 questions game else where and it's fun. I'd like to restrict it to the three LotR books and the Hobbit. I haven't read any of Tolkein's other books. I'll think of a person, place or thing (and 'thing' can be a very wide category, including 'ideas'), y'all ask single yes or no questions to figure out what I'm thinking of. The person who guesses gets to start Round 2. Sound good?? I'll just dive in and hope others participate...

I'm thinking of....? (Someone ask, 'Is it a person?' 'Is it a place?' 'Is it a thing?' or any question that occurs to you.)

Ooooh, I hope, I hope people want to participate!

Is it a Spider?

Um, how are we defining "person" here? Any named character, or any named human/humanoid character? I'm thinking any character displaying "human intelligence" should count as a "person" even if it's a giant Spider, an Orc, an Ent, etc.

I was thinking 2 legged humanoid as a "person" which would encompass orcs, elves, etc. and 8 legged hairy thing as "spider". but really i just stumbled in from new posts and thought it seemed like a cool thread....

Ruthla I like fek&fuzz's definition; a person is a two-legged human type: hobbits, men, dwarfs, elves, orcs. Eight-legged beasties, winged nasties and the like could, for the sake of this game, be called animals. Or critters or beasties.

======

A hint: it's not an animal.

Yes, it's The One Ring! Actually, it's one of two evil, round, shiny objects made of metal, the other being Saruman's nipple ring.

Yay, Fek&Fuzz, it's your turn! You choose something, we'll guess. Let us know when to start.
