Canadian vaccine requirements for immigrants? School question too

I'm guessing/hoping we're moving to Canada (Alberta) in the next 1-2 years. DD had vaccines up to about age 8, DS1 up to about age 6 and DS2 and DS3 got no vaccines. We'll either immigrate under the skilled worker or family class.

I know proof of immunizations is required to immigrate, but surely there's an exemption? They are healthy and will easily pass the medical exam. Also, if I'm working, I'll probably put them in school instead of homeschooling them, is there an exemption for schools?

Maybe some of this information will help.

I'm in AB and you don't even need and exemption in AB for school as it isn't required. Some provinces do have some requirements that you would need exemptions for. I don't know about immigration requirements.

My dh immigrated from Sweden and he did not have to show any immunization records. I'm not sure if it's because I was sponsoring him as my spouse or not, but he did have to do the medical exam. I'm also in Alberta, and there is no exemption required for school enrollments. The only thing they ask is for your permission to contact the public health nurse (where immunization records are kept) if they need those records. I didn't have to give the school or daycare dds' records - they are vaxed though, but I imagine it would be the same process for children who aren't vaxed.
