I've noticed something strange lately. About 20 minutes into our breastfeeding session, I seem to have an overactive letdown. My letdowns are usually 4 or 5 minutes apart (unless It's been a while) and since I don't have a huge supply, my 10 week old DD has to suck for a while to get her fill. I feel so bad that she's such a hard worker and suddenly gets a huge mouthfull that makes her cough and unlatch. There's really no way I can know when it's about to happen and she needs all the milk (and hindmilk) she can get so I can't take her off or switch sides 10 minutes in. Has anyone heard of something like this?

Backstory (if anyone is interested):
My DD and I have had a lot of breastfeeding challenges including thrush (that wouldn't go away), a crappy pediatrician who made me suppliment due to jaundice in the hospital, and a low supply. I started supplimenting again recently because after a few weeks of not, DD was only gaining 2 oz a week. Pumping has never really worked for me.

Thanks in advance!
