I just can't wrap my brain around the fact that my Lili is a month old already!!!!!

We are really enjoying noticing all her little milestones. She's smiling more and more regularly. She's cooing and ahhing. She knows who we all are and tries to look at our faces when we talk.

My 3 year old still wakes up every morning and greets her like she's a present on christmas morning. She asks every day "we get to keep her????"

Who else is already zoomily leaving newborndom behind?

Awwww...so cute. Love the 'redneck' ball pit...too funny! Charlotte is now 12 days old but it is going by so quick. As she is my last baby I really want her to stay small for a long time...so does DH. Every night he asks Charlotte to not grow over night so Mama doesn't get the baby bug anytime soon!

3 weeks and 4 days here

Thank you for this thread! I cannot BELIEVE Nora is 2 days away from being 4 weeks old! Not quite 1 month, but almost. I feel like she has grown so much - both in body and in mind. While I look forward to her becoming more interactive and I love that she is learning who I am and starting to maybe smile a bit here and ther, I really find myself missing her newborn-ness and how small and helpless she was. Even looking at pictures of her from the first day she was born, it's overwhelming how much she has grown!

This must be what people talk about when they say it's so hard to let go. I'm going to be a mess on her first day of school!

ETA - OMG, Cas, that redneck ball pit is hilarious! I just spit out my coffee!

Cas, what a beautiful family you have!

Carolyn is now almost 6 weeks old! It's so much fun watching her learn and grow every day. Already her birth seems like it was forever ago.

This mothering thing is so bittersweet isn"t it. I love seeing her grow, and dreaming of the girl she"s revealing to us>>> but at the same time I'm aready mournimgthe passing of what we call yhe newborn noodle stage.

I'm much the same with my three year old...half of me cheers her accomplisment...the other half misses the baby she was>
