The other day my dh was taking something out of the oven and we had dd (17mo) running around the kitchen and I had to stop him from opening the door as she could grab the hot edge. I told him he had to have some forethought about dangers like the oven door.
His response was that his forethought got removed with his foreskin. He said it with a laugh. I laughed too but told him that wouldn't get him off the hook for not thinking ahead!
My husband is very anit-circ. When we were dating, I asked him what he thought about circ and he said "No way would I do that to my kid and frankly, I'd like mine back!" He climbed a serious notch higher on the "marriage material" list with that one. (He was already pretty high anywas as he thought co-sleeping just made sense ("Where else would you put the baby but with it's momma and daddy?") and breastfeeding was the only choice!
