Nov 1st: £43.04 food shopping, £2 weekend activity (wildlife club)
Nov 2nd:£11.61 food/toiletries/household, £52.40 diesel, £9 on a take out with a friend
(£34.18 Xmas gifts but bought with money that was given to me plus my dh spent £9 on an Xmas gift for DS2)
Nov 3rd: £7 on playgroups for this week (budgetted) DH spent 60p ( no doubt on a soda or some chocolate!)
Nov 4th: No spend! DH spent £5.05on dinner at work but he reckons he is claiming this on expenses - hmmm, we'll see ?!?
Nov 5th: Spent 65p on tomato puree for dinner tonight. DS2 was begging (literally, he got on his knees!) for chocolate at the store this morning but I resisted him and just got what we need. A rare and happy event! Also £1.65 advance payment for DS1 to have Xmas dinner at school in December (grocery/household budget) and £5.50 for DS1's class theatre trip (I guess that will come out of family fun budget). £1.09 on a card for a new baby.

Nov 6th: No spend! DH spent £3.50 on a game of football and £3.50 on lunch.
Nov 7th: Groceries/household £74.60 - wooah, I was pretty surprised to see that tally up £8.66 McDonalds (I'm kind of ashamed to write that but I was just too tired this evening to resist DH's suggestion) £0.64 DH soda at work
Nov 8th: £15 on a haircut for me (first time in 6 mths and within budget.)
Nov 9th: No spend, no drive!
Nov 10th: £3.50 playgroup (budgetted). Recording now as I don't want to spend anymore today.
Nov 11th: Fell off the wagon!
£3.50 playgroup (budgetted), £13 groceries but - and here's the rub- most of them were unnecessary and totally unhealthy! Also £3.50 DS1's school snacks til Xmas.
Nov 12th: £1.20 unnecessary grocery spending
Nov 13th: No spend for me. DH £3.50 football, drink 10p. DH petrol £28, DH cellphone pre-pay £10.
Nov 14th: £2.50 DS school charity event. £81.45 groceries. (Although I got £15 off with coupons, so it was actually more like £100

Nov 15th: No spend for me. DH spent £6 on DS1's haircut plus £3.60 on sweets and £8 on lunch for him and the kids

(Yeah, you know, because I only spent nearly £100 on groceries yesterday...) Hey and then guess what? DH also spent £3 on a sandwich and £30 on petrol.
Nov 16th: No spend, no drive for me. No spending for DH.
Nov 17th: No spend for me. DH spent £1.20 on miscellaneous food at work.
Nov 18th: £3.50 playgroup - budgetted. 20p photocopying. £19 groceries that we ran out of (although £7 was treats for Xmas that were on sale.) DH spent £1.14 on snacks at work.

Nov 19th: £3.50 playgroup - budgetted. £2 postage. DH bought gas, £24.65
Nov 20th: No spend! DH spent £3.70 on football, plus £1.65 on unnecessary groceries

Nov 21st: £3 groceries, £55.52 petrol, £3 playgroup, £1.70 parking, £1.10 lunch for DS2 who was too hungry to wait! DH spent £2.90 on lunch that he should have packed from home

Nov 22nd: No spend, no drive for any of us!
Nov 23rd: £33.07 groceries. DH and I have agreed that there will be no more grocery spending until December now so we are on a kind of "pantry challenge" - I'm weirdly excited about this

Nov 24th: No spend for me. DH spent £2 on a Christmas party ticket at his work.
Nov 25th: £3.50 playgroup (budgetted) and £6 postage and photocopying - expensive but unavoidable.
Nov 26th:

. Turns out DH bought a book on Amazon £5.99
Nov 27th:

broke the "pantry challenge" by buying DS2 some lunch - 96p. Postage £1.86 - a necessary spend.
Nov 28th: Kids are ill

so no spend, no drive.

OH sh*t, that;s not even true. We got takeout for dinner after an awful day looking after sick kids. £11.

Nov 29th:£77.34 groceries BUT this is really December spending but I did it today as I don't have time early next week. So, I'm counting this in my Dec totals - we could have easily finished Nov with what we have here. It's a lot but, £15 was stuff towards Christmas so not too bad as I also got nappies and some medications as everyone here is sick
Nov 30th: We're all sick. No spend, no drive.
