How long was your cycle with Progesterone?

This is the first month of me taking progesterone supplements. I'm looking to see how long everyone's cycle was while taking it compared to when they weren't. Also, do I need to stop taking it in order for AF to start? I'm 12 or 13 days PO, but I haven't taken a test because I have a bad feeling and don't want the bad news today.

My LP goes on and on with progest. I need to stop it to get AF and sometimes it takes a few days for me after stopping to get AF. I've had many 18 day LPs with progest. Not everyone is quite so sensitive. I usually do many high qual preg tests or a blood test before stopping. Sorry you're not feeling positive about it right now.

Are you doing suppositories or shots? I have a long cycle with progesterone too. It's not as bad with the suppositories as it is with the progesterone injections. When I was doing the shots in my post-luteal phase I'd wait until 14-16 days post ovulation, take a pregnancy test and then stop (since it was negative). It took about 4 days after stopping the shots before my period would kick in. With the suppositories my period would eventually start even while I was taking them, but usually 3-4 days late.

I did my first progesterone cycle last month and didn't start my period until after I stopped taking it. I then started two days later. In all the cycle was 32 days, and is normally around 27.
