xpost: birthday/christmas gift ideas?

Ok, so My daughter is turning two at the beginning of december, and of course christmas is not long after that. I want to Make (knitting, crochet, sewing) as many of her and my son's gifts as possible. Any ideas? Patterns? Links? I am not a very creative person, and when I usually try to do something on my own, it comes out looking butt ugly, LOL. So any help of any kind would be very appreciated! TIA :

PS ....LINKS PLEASE!

Oops

Sorry, I meant to put specifics in there, but I guess I fogot! I was thinking play clothes for my DD birthday, and a (easy) knitted doll(s) for christmas. For my DS, who is 3 1/2, I honestly have no idea what to make for him. I have no money, so I can't buy him anything or buy materials to make him something. It has to be made with what I already have ( I have a pretty substantial yarn and sewing material stash, though). For that matter, no idea what to do for hubby either. LOL. I have no idea what to make for anybody, sad but true. It's the first christmas where we have no wiggle room in the finances for presents and things, so I have no experience with this.

Sorry, maybe this post is too broad. Maybe just help me out with dolls and play clothes for my daughter, and ideas for my son. TIA:

Well here is my list for DD (4) and DS (2)

Hoping to make a doll each from the pattern here
http://judisdolls.com/babybows/babybows.html

I'll probably make some nappies too http://www.thenappynetwork.org.nz/diy.php

I may make some clothes but as the doll can wear newborn stuff I might just get out some of thier old outfits..

I plan to sew them an apron each, don't have a pattern for that

I have knitted a tellietubby hat for DS
http://www.knitting-and.com/knitting...tubbiehats.htm

I'm using the same pattern to knit a hat for DD.

Hope that gives you some ideas
