we are swapping childcare and Dd is BAD with the other girl

So the title says it all.

We swap childcare with our neighbors!! Which is great. But dd is not taking it so good. She is in the 'mine' stage, everything is hers, the other girl is 5mos younger so she lets dd have whatever she wants. Dd will even push the little girl away from 'her' toys. I try to redirect her attention when this happens and I explain that is not correct, but then she then throws a tantrum and then the other girl starts crying and.. oh well is he!!

What do I do, I have explained to her before the neighbor comes, I have tried distraction and redirection but it only lasts for so long. Eventually she will push and take away. <sigh> Oh yeah it also happens at the neighbor's house

Any input is appreciated.

Does the other little girl bring any of her toys over? DD might be more willing to share if she can play with the other child's toys while the other girl plays with hers, or the other girl might be left alone with her own toys.

How old is your DD? I looked at the photo in your siggie (she's adorable!) but I can't tell exactly how old she is (1.5? 2? 2.5?) from the picture.

She is 22 mo.

We sometimes go to her house, but we still have the same problem, maybe a little worst. DD still thinks everything is hers and the other girl knows everything is hers.
