Fistula

Just curious if anyone else had a vesico vaginal or other type of fistula as a result of prolonged or mismanaged in other way birth??

Me. I had a vesicovaginal fistula that had to be surgically repaired at 3.5 mos postpartum.

I remember you posting on my birthstory thread a few years ago. I had a vvf fistula that had to be surgically repaired 6 months after evan was born. It was a rather large hole and originally they thought I had no cervix left and actually suggested I get a hysterectomy. They were able to fix it vaginally, which was awesome, because I was expecting another abdominal surgery and woke up with a great surprise.

Is it possible to have a vaginal birth after fistula? I don't know if I'd want to risk it, mine is right next to/on my cervix and is rather large and from what I read they don't stretch they rip. I'd rather not wear a catheter for 6.5 months again.
