WOO HOO! :

Glad the loss of that mucus plug on Sunday actually DID something.

Now for those real labor contractions as opposed to these petty "kindof strong" braxton hicks.

Baby, PLEASE come this weekend.

Awe thanks!

So I've gotten some cramping the past few hours but the midwife said it's normal to get cramps and such after an exam Ah. Trying to stay positive. It's so hard though!

Hey though- what's not to say that these cramps could become labor tonight?

Wouldn't that be so nice...It's so funny how I'm looking forward to being in pain, lol. I think I'm nuts.

You're watched pot will boil when nobody's watching. I keep checking the forum just for you. Maybe I should stop adding salt to the water and taking the lid off

Good thinking

I feel honored.

Oh, speaking of timing and such- I really think he will come on Saturday at 1:00. Why? because we have something important going on that we'd really like to go to.

You see, with my first, my husband told my unborn ds "Come out on ANY day- just not January 6th!!" because he had a film shoot that day.

Water broke January 5th and he was born on January 6th

So far, our kid(s) have a proven track record on coming out at not so ideal times. Maybe this one will do the same...

I told this baby "any day but the 19th cause its Grandma's b-day (MIL)" she came on the 19th. DH asked me to cross my legs till the 20th. We dont have a good relationship with MIL

I keep checking back for an update on you too.

Thanks, ladies :

So what's up with this?- I just got back from walking at the store, came home feeling period-crampy, looked in my underwear to find a gross big fat VERY bloody mucus plug.

Um, I lost my mucus plug on Sunday. How many do I have? What the heck is my body doing? Now, I know I had a cervical exam yesterday but still...

Where the heck are my contractions people?!?

I wonder though- could all that walking during shopping have caused me to pass that bloody mucus?

Oh my word- unbelievable.

"What is?" you might ask. The fact that I'm still very pregnant typing this right now.

It's 4 in the morning here because I can't sleep. My pubic bones feel like they're made of toothpicks with a bowling ball rested upon them.

They're about to snap in half, I know it.

This baby must be getting bigger every, single, day.

Why oh why can't I get contractions? I feel like I'm on my period the last few days but nothing, I mean NOTHING to get excited about. Just general crampy-like stuff and yucky GAS.

My body can only go on so much longer. Otherwise I'll put myself on bedrest, lol.

I'm not worried.

You can't possibly be as creepy as the 40 year old guy at the mall today who, upon seeing my ginormous belly and pushing my toddler around in the stroller, wistled loudly at me and said "SEXY MAMA!"
