Help a new mama!

Hi mamas. I jut made a new friend and her son is around 2 months old. She was having MAJOR oversupply issues for awhile as I forwarded her some kellymom info. Well, I got this email from her this morning. I really want to help her!

I will try calling today to see if you are home. I have been doing the block feeding and as of two days ago, I seem like I have evened out. The problem now is it seems like I don't have enough milk, he is pulling and tugging when he is nursing. My milk doesn't drop maybe 3-4 times a day, that scares me. Maybe that is the way it is supposed to be?!?! I start back to work only part time in a couple of weeks. My Dr. put me on birth control, that Nura Ring, which I am not so happy about that last 2 times I went on something my milk was gone. I asked for this "micro pill" but she really didn't wasn't to put me on that. Since I get pregnant on pills. Anyway Angel thanks so much for the info. I have been meaning to get a hold of you, because that info was great.

I want to tell her to go off that BC but is that overstepping? What other advice would you give? TIA

First, get the Nuva Ring out, I'm assuming you're wearing it now. It can seriously decrease milk supply to the point of no return in some so get rid of it. That'll probably help a lot if you once had a good supply and now don't. Also, baby is getting to a point where the milk will be more evened out.
