Prenatal Book

Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but here it goes...

I need a great natural prenatal book for my 18 niece who's pregnant and on her way down a very conventional path (even considering scheduling a c-sec) so I'm doing everything I can to at least give her some really great information.

I have a three yr old now and I can't for the life of me even remember what I read when I was pregnant (besides mothering!!)

Thanks so much!

Having a Baby, Naturally - Peggy O'Mara; Ina May Gaskin's Guide to Childbirth (great birth stories in the front of it) - Ina May Gaskin; The Birth Partner (great for partner and for mom) - Penny Simkin. All usually available fairly inexpensively used on Amazon.com.

the pregnancy book by dr. sears is sort of a cross between the two worlds; conventional/traditional usa pregnancy book and alternative/natural pregnancy book. i was 19 when i got pregnant with ds but i was raised by a very alternative mama whose copy of spiritual midwifery i devored by age 12.
