Postpartum Anxiety

my baby is 2.5 months old and well a few weeks after we came home he would just scream then i would eat cause i didnt know why he was screaming and it happened all the time nothing i did would make him stop soo it became a horrible never ending cycle he would scream i would cry and eat then get mad cause i was over eating and anyways we were just having bad days i guess

soo i told my doctor and she said i have anixenty which sounds right to me and she put me on zoloft iam on day 2 of zoloft sooo far it makes me sleepy

when is the best time to take it cause man i just want to sleep

I had a tough time my first week on Zoloft but by the 2nd week, I felt much better.... give it at least 2 weeks.

Yeah, the first two weeks are really tough...just hang in there.

thanks this is all very new to me with my first i never got PPD at all soo to be told i got it this time was very scary

i been doing what the doctor said to was to workout everyday and get out of the house everyday but still this is just very new to me

i just want to be my old self again with noo worries

I hope feel better soon! Your doctor gave you great advice, try taking your baby on a walk everyday even if you don't feel like it. It will help a lot until the meds kick in/even out. I take it at night. Good luck!

Oh wow, just hang in there...are things any better with your baby? Does he/she still cry a lot? I hope the meds help...it can be such a relief to have the internal resources to cope.

dylan yeah he still crys but now i dont get upset or anything he mainly loves to be held in the sling soo i wear him all day everyday

I know how you feel,I take ativan sometimes to help with the anxiety.It will get better in time.Just remember that everything will evolve and there is always hope.
