Some shots from the upcoming HP Half Blood Prince movie - Page 2

I'm just disappointed. This was going to be Michael's first time to go with me to the theater opening night and see a Harry Potter. Ah well. What's eight more months?

Ugh, it sounds so much longer when you say it like that!

I feel really guilty but I had a baby in July so actually I am thrilled about the delay until next year. But for everyone like me, there's someone who is currently pregnant and due next May or something who must be furious!

Thanks for the link to the trailer!

What, July??? That's just completely wrong... seeing a new Harry Potter film is a pre-Christmas thing, not a summer thing!

Truth be told, I'd love to have an infant with a movie to go to. Infants are easy in the movies. It's the 1yo/2yo/3yo/4yo/5yo/6yos who are a problem (either too young for the movie or you have to hire a sitter ... which kind of isn't in our reality ...).

Am trying so hard to figure out how to take my by-then-11yo and by-then-9yo with me to see it, while not taking by-then-7yo and by-then 5yo, and without DH getting severely annoyed (he totally has no patience for movies altogether, and HP, well ... don't even ask. )

All of my babies except Michael have been to an HP opening night. And for Michael, the first HP movie was his first time ever with a babysitter.

I agree for a run-of-the-mill movie where you can pop in or out for a loud crying jag or an urgent diaper change, but with HP I don't want to miss a single second!

I hope anyone who needs to see it can find a good and economical babysitter or make a deal with their DP or something!

Well, that's why I take my husband. He has to leave if the baby fusses.

Thankfully I've known about the later release for quite a while now. Still way disappointed though. With the books done, the movies are all I have.

Thanks for the links to the trailers....so cool! I'm all tingly now! July does seem like a long time away. Guess I'll just have to re-read the series again, to keep me occupied!

At least "Lost" starts at the end of January!
