Looking for magazine suggestions

I'm a small-town librarian. We are moving to a new space in a few months and I'll be able to add a few more magazines.

Some of what I'm looking for:

Another general parenting magazine. We currently have Mothering, but I'd like to have something more mainstream but not totally given over to crap. Does this exist? Like all public libraries we serve a wide range of patrons and I don't think Mothering meets everyone's interests by any means.

Another magazine or two for kids. We have the younger age groups fairly well served with Ladybug and Babybug but I'm not sure what to get for kids from about 3rd grade and up to maybe 7th grade. Suggestions are welcome, thanks.

We currently carry one knitting magazine, but it might be nice to have a general craft mag with stuff about a lot of different activities. We don't have room for a lot of really specialized magazines.

Bicycles are very popular. Anyone have a favorite magazine?

Huge thanks in advance

Brain, Child is a favorite of mine. Intelligent essays and articles about parenting. NOT full of formula ads or anything like that.

Family Fun is a great mag with crafts, recipes, etc for families to do together. Right now we are making Christmas Ornaments for gifts from the kids to our family members. We found it in this mag.

Click and Muse (same publisher as Babybug and Ladybug) are good. My older daughter (almost 11) likes American Girl magazine.

I LOVE Family Fun, great magazine.

I just bought Kiwi at the HFS today. First time seeing it and it says 'Growing kids the natural and organic way.

May I recommend Wonder Time? It's a more enjoyable read for me than Family Fun (it reminds me of Real Simple)
You can't go wrong with Organic Gardening, it is just beautiful and so informative .

I always read People at the library

oh yes, forgot about that one, I really enjoy Wonder Time

Sunset and Cook's Illustrated are the only two magazines to which I subscribe.

I read Cross-Stitch and Needlework upon occasion and it has some great projects. Australian Embroidery and Cross-Stitch is really beautiful.

Our library only has ONE quilting magazine and they're always gone. I wish they'd get more.

Yeah to "Click," and "Muse." There's also "Ask" and "Spider." And "Cricket."

I think they're all put out by the same publisher, too.

Wow! I've heard of some of these, but you ladies are coming up with lots of fresh ideas.

We should have a quilting magazine, I forgot about that.

Please, keep it up, this is wonderful.
