Roommate in ABQ?? Exploring Options...

Established, drama free, not too quiet, not too loud, lesbian couple (35 & 52) with two very well behaved children aged 3 ½ and 6 weeks seek housemates. We are both employed and willing to show proof of employment, personal and credit references, etc… We are both clean and neat, as is our daughter. We do have one 9 yr old mid sized dog that is house trained, quiet and well behaved and gets along well with children and other animals.

As the header says, we are exploring options. We are renting a wonderful S.Valley house with an extra bedroom. If you needed a room we could discuss you moving in here. Conversely, if you had a house with at least two bedrooms open, we could move in with you. Or, we could rental house shop together if neither option works.

We would most prefer another lesbian couple/single/family but are open to anyone, male or female, straight or gay, single or family who is: clean, has a verified income source, open to children and animals, respectful, fun, open minded, intelligent, willing to submit personal references and drama free.

If you are moving in here we have a room (furnished if needed) immediately. If we are moving the move date would be mid Jan.
We have a houseful of great furniture if need, or could be stored if not. Open to anything from fancy-schmancy to off the grid. The NE area would be ideal but any where in ABQ metro is fine.

If you’re interested at all, let’s talk and see what we all have in common and what we can work out. Please PM for details on our preferred finc arrangments and with your preferences/needs.

Motrin is pulling the ad. I can't believe they thought it was a good idea.

Doularn and Elm, hope you're both able to feel a bit better today.

Eva just came up to me and declared: "I'm ready for a puppy.":

Dh and I made out our Christmas budget/list out last night and decided to make bath salts/other bath goodies for my SIL. Does anyone want to do a bath salt MAO? If not, ASF can I borrow some essential oils?

popping in to ask if any of you ladies like to sew...a fellow homeschooling mom introduced me to this store called HipStitch and it's basically a sewing lounge. I tend to hang there a lot, whenever I can LOL

Anyway, they have lots of classes and cute fabrics. I'm making a lot of my gifts this holiday season and I go in for advice about patterns, etc.

I guess this is a shameless plug for a local hangout which I love and thought someone else might too.

I keep thinking about asking to come to your playdates, etc but I feel like I'm gatecrashing. LOL We stopped doing homeschool park days cuz of the weather and this time of year is nuts anyway. It's hard to meet up with friends cuz of all the crazy schedules. Plus, I'm basically chained to my sewing machine until I get all the gifts done! Every time I think I'm done, I find another cute/cool pattern and think, "So and so would just love that!"

I have heard about it, a few months ago.

You just need to jump right in, we rarely bite :

Blue I'll PM that is wonderful.

I've been wanting to go check out hipstitch. I'm not usually in that part of the city so I keep forgetting. It sounds like a really cool place.

Remember that crazy cat from Halloween? We saw him for a couple of days after Halloween and then he was gone. He just walked into my family room!! The kids are excited. I am not. :

Sorry we haven't been around lately. We've just been so busy. Still not sure about MNO. Don't count on me being there. I might just show up. It depends on when dh gets home and what kind of a mood he's in.
