Hmm... I'm not aware of a store in Port Coquitlam, but there is one in Port Moody. http://www.creativechildreneducational.com/ Its a warehouse type deal and the stuff there isn't well labled price-wise. Frankly, its a one stop shop for everything you need, but don't expect cheap prices.
Actually, scratch that, I have found some cheap stuff, but it was more like one-offs. Stuff that they only have 1 or 2 of, they'll package up eg. a couple erasers, pack of crayons, some pieces of felt, odds and ends of feathers, wooden cut-outs etc. and sell the whole lot for $5 or so. Good deal for those of you who have crafty kids.
Congrats Kate! All this talk about new babies coming up is making me itch for another one. Dh would have a fit, and I'd have no idea how to manage 3 under 5, but still...
Actually, I am just looking for a few things for my specail needs preschooler, like springy scissors, pre reading stuff, puzzles, beading, letters (magnetic or puzzle). So this may work for me. I am not looking for quantity, just more learning type stuff than I can find at chapters or walmart. Thanks for all the stores. I am going to check them out this weekend.
