Post-partum Weight Loss

Is this possible? I weighed 152 when I got to the hospital early Monday morning. Today, 6 days pp, the scale reads 130. That would mean I have only 12 pounds to go! I'm having trouble believing it, though.

Hey, I'm down almost 21 lbs in 8 days. I'm sure a lot of it is various fluids but I don't care.

I don't care either...I still have quite the tummy pooch, but it's nice to see the number on the scale dropping

I totally wait until he's nursed before I weigh myself. Like to reduce the weight in all possible ways.

It is possible!
For dd, I lost 16 lbs. from giving birth. Lost all baby weight, 23lbs in 9 days. And I was ravenous!

Yes, very possible Makes you feel good, doesn't it ? With DS, I had dropped 30 of the 39lbs at 8 days PP, and the rest was gone by 3mths.

I weighed myself this morning @ 7 days PP and I have lost 16 of the 22 I gained this time. It's encouraging until I remember that I also started 10lbs heavier following my m/c, so really, I still have 16lbs to lose, not 6.
