i dealt with the back labor just fine with the help of my doula. got to the hospital at 8cm, carried on progressing well until i was met with the beast known as 'anterior lip of cervix'. with some not so delicate manhandling, doc managed to complete me eventually, but beaker was stuck 
position change, forceps, vacuum did nothing, aside from hurt like all hell and back. babies heart tones dropped significantly from the distress and i ended up with a c/s. turns out my pelvis is weirdly narrow, and that explains why i carry 'em posterior and why dd was forceps.
beaker was an 8lb 6oz girl
: she had to spend some time in the level II nursery because of some mec and breathing issues, but she's just fine now and nursing like a total pro
