Quick update on us! Spencer was a half pound OVER his birth weight at six days old .....yeah for mama milk!!!

His cord has come off already, and he is doing so well!

Life with a newborn and a toddler has certainly been an adjustment, but a happy one for sure. My toddler still looks like she grew up overnight though

I'm ten pounds lighter than when I first got pg and back in to my pre preggo jeans :

The placenta pills have been a miracle worker for my mood and baby blues. I only have mild anxiety from time to time, but other than that I'm a happy camper.

Can't believe Spencer is a week old already, and its just November!!!

Thinking of all you mamas!! And sending the ones who want them all the ELV"s I can muster

Did you make your own placenta pills? Do you think that contributed to your weight loss?

I'm so glad to hear that everything is going well! Mama milk is the best I'd love to be pre-preggo size after only a week...that would mean losing 75 lbs :

Midwife had a friend who does the encapsulation! I wish it contributed to the weight loss! I gained like 12 pounds this pg, and lost all of that and then some pretty quickly after giving birth! I think its because I really lost weight during pg, so when it was all said and done, I ended up being thinner afterwards I'm lucky...but I'm also not thin to begin with, which is why this probably all happened.
Also, I'm nursing two and have enough milk to feed all of the newborns in our DDC!!!
