I lost a circ mid-project and need to replace it asap. The interchangeables from Knit Picks seem like a good choice. I'm really warming up to my ChiaoGoo bamboo needles, although my addis are still faster. I was wondering how slippery the Harmony tips are in comparison to the Chiaogoos.

I've never used ChiaogGos, but I can tell you that I absolutely love my knitpicks. I have both the metal and the harmony (wooden) ones. I seem to reach for the Harmony ones more often. I love the pointy tips and their a really nice balance of smooth but sticky enough that I don't have to work really hard to keep the stitches on the needle.

Haven't used the Harmony needles, but madly love my nickel-plated Options. I tried them when I needled to replace a size 3 bamboo needle--love at first knit, ordered the Options set for my birthday, never looked back!

Lately, I've been using bamboo dpn's. I have used addis with ease, but also wanted some interchangeables that have a smooth cable-to-needle transition. I opted for the KnitPicks harmony. Just waiting on it to arrive any day
:
Lisa, I feel better about my decision after reading that you reach for them more often than the metal one's.

I got the nickel set before they came out with the harmony, and I'm wishing I'd waited for the harmony. They're beautiful, almost as slick as the nickel, but so much lighter and warmer. They're the first needles I reach for every time, the harmony. If only I had the full set!

I have the interchangeable Harmony circs and a few sets of Harmony dps. I love love love them! Very warm and light, and so pretty to look at.
BTW, Knitpicks sells these on Amazon as well as their own site. I ordered mine through Amazon because I had a gift card!
