I am. I was due the 28th. This is my 4th baby and I have NEVER been overdue, so I don't even know how to deal. The daily phone calls from multiple family members are *really* starting to get to me. I'm so happy for everyone here who has had their baby, but I can't even come in to the ddc because every new birth announcement reminds me that I'm still huge, uncomfortable, and that the little bean is just getting bigger and bigger and bigger. I lost my plug a few days ago, and I had bright red spotting on Friday, but still nothing - not even a contraction.

I'm contemplating castor oil - this is ridiculous.

Sorry to be such a downer. I'm such a pill lately that I don't even like myself.

Leave it to the family members who won't leave us alone.

I have decided to stop answering my phone from everyone but my mom. My grandma is calling me almost every day to tell me the baby better be here this week because she's arriving tomorrow.

I DON'T CARE! LOVE HER DEARLY, BUT WHEN THIS BABY COMES IS NOT ABOUT HER.

I'm a consistant lurker this pregnancy, but alas I must post. I'm 5 days over, EDD oct. 30, and today was my hardest day. I'm trying to keep up with my 21 monther and just so tired and uncomfortable, especially now that babe has dropped. I want to introduce myself more...I'm just too tired at the moment. But, I'm with you mamas...wishing us all into a timely labor....oh yeah...not to mention....I'm totally freaking out about election stuff.....wouldn't it be amazing to have our babies born on such a day!!! (assuming of course, our chosen candidate wins.....)
Let's do it mamas...let's get these babies moving!

Me... I hurt everywhere, and our sewer line has to be replaced... which means no flushing.

Me too! I had to get a Stress Test today, which meant I cried my eyes out last night at the thought of possibly not being able to homebirth, but everything was Perfect! And today I lost more of my mucus plug, and have been having contractions. The only thing different is that when I feel the slightest contraction I am going for walks, which I have been a little lazy about.

But I serously have turned off the ringer on my phone, and I am so effing over all the people calling to bug. they are used to it now, and not calling as much which is great. Ignore them for long enough and they get a little pissy, which works just fine and dandy for me.

Oh and by the way, way **TMI** but I took Castor Oil on Sunday, had horrendous, horrible, screaming in pain post bathroom break pains in my body , and found out it made me bust a vein in there somewhere and I was bleeding out of my butt for the last week. I am so happy that we found a solution to the bleeding, and Castor Oil usually works for everyone else, so please don't let me discourage you. I had my birthtub filled up and just sat in there after each bathroom run. Every time I sat down to pee, even, my toilet had bright red blood, and clots. Just when I was at my lowest about all of this, my midwife gave me Redman's Clay and suggested some Floridix, and 2 days later I am happy to report the only blood I see is running through my flushed face when I bend down to pick things up.

I know that no one else I have ever talked to has had the same experience with Castor oil as me, but it was brutal brutal brutal. But here at the tail end of this I am willing to do whatever it takes to have my baby naturally and worse case scenario I have accepted that I might not get the birth I want but everything will be ok. I needed to cry with my husband last night to get to that place, but everything will indeed be ok.

Whew, thanks for letting me go on about that!

I just wanted to come here ladies and let know that I'm thinking about all of you!!! I know how hard it is and I've been in your shoes. I was 42 weeks and 3 days when when labor FINALLY started and I was at my wits end. I'm thinking of all of you and hope to hear some birth announcements in the coming days/weeks. Just stay positive and enjoy your last few moments feeling your sweet babe in your belly! I already miss those kicks and flutters!!!! I'm here if you need anything!!! Rest up mommas and your babies will be here sooner than you think! Believe it or not, you won't be pregnant forever!!!

From a mom who went 13 days late this time around, I feel the pain you are all experiencing. Go get a pedicure, eat some cake, knit a hat, watch Law and Order, and REST!!

Still pregnant here!! Some contractions, but nothing consistent! I desperately need labor vibes!!!
just wanted to offer some support also. i was way over (originally in sept ddc) and went to 42 weeks and 5 days.

my best advice: REST!!!! esp. for those of you having a lot of BH contractions. those things got me ready alot more than i expected. my labor was only 4 hours long (after reading all the notes..i had originally been told it was 6 but no, it was only 4!!!).

REST REST REST REST!!!!

still pregnant here. no ctx, but I am dilated not quite a cm. OB says he wants to induce by next week tuesday, but everything is FINE. had NST, US and they were perfect. He is happy with my BP and urine and weight gain (or lack of), and I am scheduled for another NST tomorrow (friday). So why wont he let this go to or past 42 weeks? He says the risk of complications goes up. But I'm not having any symptoms of anything yet. My first kid and I'm hypothyroid, from a family full of late babies ( I was 3 weeks late!) so why is 42 weeks such a critical number??
