No licensed midwives. There is someone who is licensed in Texas but lives in Shreveport and travels for births. However, she's got a new baby herself and I don't believe she's accepting clients yet. At the very least, she could refer you to a great doula. PM me for more info.

I'm the midwife that Erica spoke of and I am accepting new midwifery clients, due after March and planning to birth in Texas. Give me a call at 318-272-8295, leave a message and be understanding if I'm slow to get back with you. I have not really established the balance of handling business calls and three kids (one newborn) yet. Alternately, e-mail me.
