Pagan chicks.... I have a question

Thread Starter
I was invited to be a part of a moon circle for a full year. I have been to two gatherings already and as much as I find it intriguing and wonderful, I am so new and feel a little green on the subject.

Can anyone please recommend one or two [don't overwhelm me please] must reads that will help me be more of a participant rather then the quiet one taking it all in?

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Well, that's kind of a tricky question. What kind of a coven are you going to? There are so many kinds of pagan's- different traditions I mean.

Honestly it's better to go and BE quiet and take it all in. See how everyone interacts while doing a ritual. Watch and keep track of the questions you have mentally- and ask them when it's done.

I personally LOVE SilverRavenWolf's books (To Ride a Broomstick and others) and find it's easy to start from her books. There are other more traditional specific books, feminist, Gardner, Buckland, Dianic, Kitchen.... just to name a few

That would be a good question to ask after the ceremony- What books do they recommend? Do they offer classes for new members?

Blessings!
