Newsweek article about Paul Offit

Have anyone read this article about Offit in the latest Newsweek magazine?
They portray him as this nice guy that against all odds fights for the health of our children against some lunatic parents' point of views.

awwww poor poor Paul...just a misunderstood do gooder. Whatever. I don't think he wants to kill or maim children. I thinks he believes what he spouts and his judgement is clouded by greed. He keeps referring to the studies disproving the links to autism. I would like to read line by line all of them, know who funded them and what their stake in the outcome was. That information is never offered..I wonder why?? Funny how he ignores (just like the rest of the medical community) that show a link and raise safety questions.

Five national consumer organizations today charged Newsweek magazine with transgressing ethical bounds by working with the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) in a way that promotes the drug lobby's public policy agenda. In a joint letter to Newsweek Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Richard M. Smith, the groups contended that, as a result of a "virtually unprecedented" special advertising relationship with the drug lobby, Newsweek allowed the drug lobby to use a supposedly independent media outlet "to promote its public policy agenda."
